I don't see any competencies in my list, what should I do?

If you cannot see any competencies in your list, the most common cause is that your Course setting has not been selected in your account.

How to Fix This

  1. Log into CompKeepr
  2. Click on your name in the bottom-left corner of the screen (or click the Account Info button in older versions)
  3. Look for the Course dropdown
  4. Select your course or program from the list
  5. Click Save
  6. Refresh the page

Your competencies should now appear based on the course you selected.

Still Not Working?

If you have selected a course and still cannot see competencies:

  • Check with your instructor — they may need to assign competencies to your course
  • Try a different browser — clear your cache or use incognito/private mode
  • Contact support — there may be a configuration issue with your program

Why Does This Happen?

Some CompKeepr installations use the Courses feature to filter competencies by program or stream. This means students only see the competencies relevant to their specific course. Until you select your course, the system does not know which competencies to show you.

If your school does not use the Courses feature, this setting may not appear in your account — contact your instructor or support if you are unsure.
