How to Unarchive a Student
Students who have been archived can be restored to active status. This is useful when a student returns to the program, was archived by mistake, or needs access again.
Steps to Unarchive a Student
- Go to the Students section in your dashboard
- Look for an Archived tab or filter option
- Find the student you want to restore
- Click on the student to view their profile
- Look for an Unarchive or Restore button
- Confirm the action
The student will now appear in your active student list and can log in again.
Instructions for CompKeepr V1 installations are at the bottom of this page.
What Happens When You Unarchive
- The student regains access to their CompKeepr account
- All their previous evaluations and competency data are restored
- They will appear in your active student lists again
- They can resume sending evaluation requests
Cannot Find the Archived Student?
If you cannot locate the student in the archived list:
- Check that you are viewing the correct cohort or group
- The student may have been permanently deleted rather than archived
- Contact support if you need help locating the student record
Need to Archive a Student Instead?
To archive a student (for example, when they graduate or leave the program), find them in your active student list and look for the Archive option in their profile.
Instructions for CompKeepr V1 installs
- From the Archived Students page, Edit the account using the options/actions menu
- UPDATE the email, the email may have been changed to prevent student login after archiving
- UPDATE the location, remove the Archive location from their account and Add a new location
- Click Save
- The student can now login again, they can click 'Forgot your password' on the login page for your installation if they do not remember their login. Alternatively, you can send them a link to set their password from within CompKeepr as well, just make sure you have already updated their email.
