Can I Recover Deleted Data?

If you accidentally deleted something in CompKeepr (a PCR, evaluation, competency, etc.), recovery depends on when it was created:

Created Today (Same Day as Deletion)

Unfortunately, it cannot be recovered. You'll need to recreate it.

Created Before Today

We can likely restore it from our nightly backup. Contact support with:

• Your name and email
• What was deleted (PCR, evaluation, etc.)
• Approximate date it was created
• Any details to help us find it

How Backups Work

All CompKeepr applications are backed up once per day, overnight. This means:

• ✅ Data from yesterday or earlier → recoverable
• ❌ Data created and deleted the same day → not recoverable

Tips to Avoid Accidental Deletion

• CompKeepr shows a confirmation warning before deleting — read it carefully
• If you're unsure whether to delete something, ask your instructor or administrator first
