Accreditation Audits
Overview
CompKeepr provides a secure way to share student records with accreditation auditors without exposing real student identities. This feature creates de-identified copies of student data that auditors can review.
Step 1: Duplicate Student Records for Audit
- Navigate to the Students page
- Select the student(s) you want to include in the audit
- Click the Copy icon to duplicate their evaluations
- A de-identified account called Audit User is created with copies of the student's evaluations
Tip: If creating multiple audit accounts, click Edit to rename them (e.g., "Audit User 1", "Audit User 2") for easier tracking.
Step 2: Create an Auditor Account
To create an account for the accreditation auditor:
- Go to Users
- Click Add User
- Enter the auditor's real email address (required for password setup)
- Set the Location to "Audit"
- Set the Role to "Instructor"
- Save the account
Important: The "Audit" location is automatically created when you duplicate a student for audit. You do NOT create this location manually - complete Step 1 first.
Step 3: Auditor Access
When the auditor receives their account setup email:
- They click the link to set their password
- After setting the password, they are automatically logged in
- They will only see students in the Audit location
Key Points
- Audit accounts see de-identified data only - no real student names or identifiers
- The Audit location is isolated from all other clinical locations
- Auditors cannot access data from other locations
