Competencies
When students log in they are brought to their competencies page. Both action icons will show more details of the competency, but the plus icon is used to send the competency to a preceptor for evaluation. The filter icon in the top left corner is used to filter the list by category.
The list can also be filtered by the search bar.
Some installations may default to a different page after logging in based on your program preferences.
The ‘eye’ icon allows you view the full competency details and a sample evaluation form that will be sent to your preceptor.
The ‘plus’ icon is used to send the competency to your preceptor.
Printing Competency Assessment Forms
It is preferred that all evaluators are in CompKeepr , but you can also print the View page (after clicking the eye icon) if you need a paper copy to give to a user that is not in the system and upload it (see file uploads). Printing the page will add options to the bottom for preceptor signatures.
Sending Competencies
If the school has allowed you to log only, you will see an option to do that and does not require you to send the evaluation to the preceptor.
Sent Competencies
All of the competency assessments sent to evaluators will appear here. The list can be filtered by pending or completed assessments (using the filter icon on the top right of the table).
They can be edited until the assessment is completed by your evaluator.
