I can't see my preceptor in my dropdown list, what should I do?

If you are sure your preceptor has an account with CompKeepr, check your Account Info page to make sure you have your location set properly.

Locations ensure you see the correct list of preceptors.

If your preceptor doesn't have an account yet

Preceptor accounts are created by your school administrator or clinical instructor — students cannot add preceptors directly.

If you need a new preceptor added to the system:

  1. Contact your clinical instructor or program coordinator
  2. Provide them with your preceptor's name and email address
  3. Once they add the preceptor, your preceptor will receive an email to set up their account
  4. Make sure your location is set correctly, and they'll appear in your dropdown
