Login Issues

I cannot log in to CompKeepr

  1. Check you are using the correct installation - There are multiple CompKeepr installations for different schools/programs. Make sure you are accessing the right one.
  2. Reset your password - Click "Forgot password" on the login page. You may have forgotten your password or never set it up after receiving your New Account email.
  3. Check your email - Make sure you are using the email address your school has on file. If unsure, contact your school administrator.

Can I merge two CompKeepr accounts?

  • Same school: Yes, contact support and let us know which email you want to keep.
  • Different schools: No, different schools have separate CompKeepr installations that cannot be merged.

Evaluation Issues

I sent my evaluation to the wrong preceptor

Most sent items can be edited before they are evaluated. Look for an Edit button or check your Sent items. If the evaluation has already been completed, contact your school administrator to request corrections.

Why is my Formative Evaluation marked incomplete?

Formative evaluations require a student reply to be marked complete. Once you receive and comment on your evaluation, it will update to Complete for everyone.

How can I delete an evaluation?

  • If not yet evaluated: You can delete it
  • If already completed: Only school accounts can delete completed records

Display Issues

I cannot see buttons to view/edit/delete evaluations

This is usually a screen size or zoom issue. Try:

  • Adjust your browser zoom - In Chrome, click the three dots in the top right corner and reduce the zoom level
  • Scroll horizontally - Click anywhere in the table and use arrow keys to scroll to see hidden buttons

Access and Data

Can I access CompKeepr after I graduate?

By default, when you are archived by the school, you retain access to your information. However, once your account is deleted by the school, your data is permanently removed. Contact your school about their retention policy.

I received an error message

  • Forbidden: You may not have access to that item, or it may have been reassigned
  • Whoops/500 error: A site error occurred. We are usually automatically notified. Try again later, and if the issue persists, contact support.
