Getting Started - Preceptor Account Setup

Account Creation

You do NOT register for an account with CompKeepr. Preceptor accounts are created by:

• The school adding you directly
• A Clinical Instructor adding you for their location
• CompKeepr importing users on behalf of the program

Setting Your Password

When your account is created, you will receive an email from CompKeepr with a link to set your password. This link expires in 2 weeks. If the link has expired, clicking it will prompt you to send another password reset link.

Resetting Your Password

If you need to reset your password:

1. Go to your CompKeepr login page
2. Click the Forgot password link
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your email (including spam/junk folder) for the reset link

Important: Password reset links can also be sent by clinical instructors, school accounts, or CompKeepr support. Since passwords are encrypted, no one can tell you what your current password is—you must reset it.

Updating Your Profile

You can update your name, email, or password at any time:

1. Click your name in the menu
2. Go to your Profile page
3. Make your changes and save

Duplicate Accounts

If you have two accounts with CompKeepr for the same school program, they can be merged. Contact support within the application to request this.
