Getting Started - Clinical Instructor Account Setup

Important Note

Not all CompKeepr installations use the Clinical Instructor role. Check with your program coordinator if you are unsure about your role.

Account Creation

You do NOT register for an account with CompKeepr. Clinical Instructor accounts are created by:

• The school adding you directly
• CompKeepr importing users on behalf of the program

Setting Your Password

When your account is created, you will receive an email from CompKeepr with a link to set your password. This link expires in 2 weeks. If expired, clicking it will prompt you to send another reset link.

Resetting Your Password

1. Go to your CompKeepr login page
2. Click Forgot password
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your email (including spam/junk) for the reset link

Note: Password reset links can also be sent by school accounts or CompKeepr support. Since passwords are encrypted, CompKeepr cannot tell you what your password is.

Updating Your Profile

Click your name in the menu, then go to your Profile page to update your:

• Name
• Email address
• Password

Adding Preceptors

Clinical Instructors can add preceptors for their location. This allows you to quickly onboard new evaluators at your clinical site.

How to Add a Preceptor

1. Navigate to the Evaluators page
2. Click Add Preceptor
3. Enter the preceptor's name and email
4. Confirm their location matches yours
5. Save the new preceptor

The new preceptor will receive an email with a link to set their password.
