Courses
Some CompKeepr installations have a Courses feature that allows students to select which course or program stream they are enrolled in.
How It Works
If your school has enabled the Courses feature:
- You will see a Course dropdown in your Account Info page
- Select your course/program from the available options
- This setting filters which competencies you see throughout the system
Why This Matters
Different courses may have different competency requirements. By selecting your course:
- Competency lists will only show competencies relevant to your program
- Evaluations will be focused on what you actually need to complete
- You avoid confusion from seeing competencies that don't apply to you
How to Set Your Course
- Log into CompKeepr
- Click on your name in the top-right corner
- Select Account Info
- Find the Course dropdown
- Select your course/program
- Click Save
Note
If you don't see a Course option, your school may not have this feature enabled, or all students share the same competency list.
Troubleshooting
I don't see any competencies:
- Make sure you have selected a course in your Account Info
- If you recently changed courses, refresh the page
- Contact your instructor if competencies are still missing
I selected the wrong course:
- Go back to Account Info and select the correct course
- Your competency list will update automatically
