Notifications
The Notifications section in CompKeepr keeps you informed about recent activity related to your evaluations and account.
Where to Find Notifications
Click on the bell icon or Notifications link in your dashboard to view your notification center.
What Gets Notified
You will receive notifications when:
- A preceptor completes an evaluation for you
- An evaluation requires your review and acceptance
- Your instructor sends you a message
- There are updates to your competencies
Managing Notifications
Viewing Details
Click the eye icon next to any notification to go directly to the related item (such as an evaluation that needs your acceptance).
Marking as Read
- Click the checkmark next to individual notifications to mark them as read
- Use the Mark All as Read button at the top to clear all unread notifications at once
Deleting Notifications
- Click the trash icon next to individual notifications to delete them
- Use the Delete All button at the top to remove all notifications
Important: Evaluation Acceptance
When you receive a notification about a completed evaluation, you may need to:
- Click the notification to view the evaluation
- Review the feedback and scores
- Accept the evaluation to confirm you have seen it
Your instructor can see which evaluations you have accepted, so be sure to review and accept them promptly.
Troubleshooting
I am not receiving notifications:
- Check that your email address is correct in Account Info
- Make sure notifications are not being filtered to spam/junk
- Ask your instructor if notification settings are enabled for your program
Notification links are not working:
- Make sure you are logged into CompKeepr
- The item may have been deleted or archived
- Try refreshing the notifications page
